Dr. Williams has a BA from Brown University (Providence, RI), Doctorate of Ministry degree in Urban Complex Settings from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Hamilton, MA) as well as a Master's in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Dr. Williams was consecrated as Overseer of the New England Diocese by His Grace Donald Hilliard II, in 2008. He is happily married to Lelani (Bonner) and is the enthusiastic father of two teenage daughters, Joy Victoria and Grace Noelle.
The new motto Where Everyone is Royalty expresses the idea that all of Gods children are members of the Royal Family of God by virtue of their New Birth. Regardless of ones age, ethnicity, level of spiritual development, personal history, or any other defining characteristic, all members and guests of The Kings Cathedral will be treated with the highest level of care, integrity, concern and respect.
Under Dr. Williams leadership, The King's Cathedral now owns five properties, including their current location, a historic church located in the Olneyville Square neighborhood of Providence. The church has distributed over 54 tons of food and tens of thousands of articles of clothing, household goods and furniture through the Care and Share ministry, just 1 of 30 different ministries and programs created to aid, support and empower the community.
The King's Cathedral meets for corporate worship on Sunday's at 10am and Kingdom Bible study every Wednesday at 7pm. the church is located at 1860 Westminster Street, Providence, RI.
The churches logo has also been changed to reflect its Kingdom mandate.
