In celebration of Earth Day, see No Time to Waste, an interactive family comedy about trash and recycling. This humorous performance gives a lighthearted look at the three R's of protecting the environment reducing, reusing and recycling. Following the show, try a variety of activities exploring conservation. Play a recycle sorting game, ereate tree print cards, and make other recycled crafts.

Meet an awesome assortment of live animals! Children have close encounters with furry friends, slithering snakes and other incredible creatures and learn fascinating facts about them from animal expert Dave Marchetti of Animal Experiences. Recommended for ages 3 and up.

Explore the magic of science in this mind-bending interactive show, which challenges audiences to help a mad scientist investigate the scientific method by observing, hypothesizing and experimenting. See paper disappear in a flash, witness objects floating in mid-air, create a bubble shower, conjure up a foggy storm and more! Shows at 1:00 & 2:00 PM; recommended for ages 3 and up.

Families encounter baby goats from Harmony Homestead (West Greenwich, RI), a lively llama from Lladyllove Llamas (Foster, RI), a soft sheep and her lambs from Maybe Tomorrow Farm (Chepachet, RI) and chickens from Cluck! Urban Farm and Garden Supply (Providence, RI) in the Museums Childrens Garden. Children ride ponies from Paine Farm (Foster, RI) and meet experts from Rhode Island farms, who demonstrate washing, carding, dying and spinning animals soft wool into yarn.

The Museum is located at 100 South Street in Providences Jewelry District. September through March, open Tuesday through Sunday and Monday school holidays, 9 AM to 6 PM, and selected Fridays until 8 PM. April through August, open 7 days.
