In response to the digital divide that exists among disadvantaged populations, the bilingual digital literacy training course offered through the Get Connected program aims to improve Rhode Islanders lives and gain an understanding of the positive impacts of internet access and curricula developed by BBRI.
Participants who graduate from Get Connected received a donated laptop computer, a donated 4G Wi-Fi device, and free Internet service for six months from Mobile Beacon.
